Savarin

Not that I need an excuse to make a cake but if I was to need one then one of these would qualify.

1) the end of our tour

2) an abundance of eggs (this uses up 4)

3) the unearthing of treasure

4) and a celebration meal before the boys head off to their grandparents for a couple of weeks holiday.

It is a savarin, glazed with an orange syrup, stuffed full of raspberries and strawberries. It is very sweet, moist and we shall have a wee smidgeon of ice cream to compliment it nicely.

Then I am being forced to play Monopoly!!!
