North Canterbury
Despite a late night and a bit of seismic rocking and rolling at 2.30am, I arose bright and early and headed out for a tramp.
Our destination was 2 private farms in North Canterbury. Big country set amongst distinctive limestone formations. A typical Canterbury summer day with a howling nor'westerly, hot, sunny and dry. The wind was so strong we couldn't complete the intended route after lunch that took us along exposed ridgelines. Gosh it was stunning country and I loved every minute of it.
Then home to transform myself in presentable hpx in a sun dress and out to a bbq with the hunter.
So many outfits in one day ;-)
