Surf's up!

Lovely lazy day today after what turned out to be a very cool - almost cold in fact! - night. Nevertheless, the day more than made up for it and included a long, late breakfast, time to sit and enjoy being, photographing, a dip in the bay, sunbathing, reading, an afternoon nap, a drive to the Spit and a short walk.

The 'surf' here is a massive 4-5 inches high! I was trying to get a mini 'tube' shot and ended up getting my bum wet, which is what prompted the dip in the bay.

Aiming for a very early start tomorrow morning - over to Farewell Spit for what will, I hope, be a lovely, atmospheric sunrise shot.

Best get to bed now then!
