Strange fruit

When the water level rises, lots of trees along the Taff have branches that dip into the water. These act as nets, catching all the debris (plastic bags mainly). Then, when the water subsides, along stretches of the river you have trees displaying these rather strange decoration.
PS - wonder of the plastic bag fee will reduce the number of bags we see?
