This plaque is in front of an old stone, which is now too worn to read, in the Churchyard of St Mary's in Old Denham. It's an incredibly sad story, but at least they will never be forgotten.

This afternoon I had a choice between doing a few extra hours at work or visiting my mum in hospital, Beth put pay to that when she phoned to say that she had left her Textile course work at home and could I take it to school? Just like a good mum I took the work in, it's only a 16 mile round trip!!!! It did mean that I got to take this photo on the way home though.
