The petals are fading

I got given a lovely bouquet of flowers in early December from some friends as they wanted to express their concerns on the loss of my brother.
These flowers have lasted for ages which have been lovely, they even lasted through Christmas and New year.

The petals are starting to fade, starting to curl, colour changing and getting ready to fall. A bit of a similarity with my brother........
