A beautiful day.

Today was one of those days where I'm constantly thinking "Wow....how did I get so lucky?" Despite the fact that my little one has been sick and I hate to see her being uncomfortable, today was particularly nice. We woke up around 11:00 after a long night....i did baking, editing, cleaning and even had an hour to walk and shoot this beautiful light that was shining down on the intense coastal waves. The ocean mist literally glowed as it blew towards the East and the air was crisp and fresh. It's times like this when I feel so unbelievably honored to live in such a place and then I begin to question how we got here....and why us? This is everything opposite of where I grew up and I can't imagine not experiencing this part of the Country....I wonder just how many other places their are in the world that I don't even know exist. I need to pack my bags and start traveling:)
