Extreme macro

Was testing out this macro extension tube and it was really good (and very cheap) alternative to an expensive macro lenses, but it was already dark and there was nothing interesting to take a picture of using it. So I decided to have some fun indoors. Hooked up the set of tubes to a 135mm lens and then attached a 28mm lens in reverse (face to face). Result was a very high magnification that was awfully difficult to set up and focus properly.

The photo above is a very close magnification of a hair resting between a 50p and a 1p coins.


In other news, I think I am suffering from Gear Acquisition Syndrome.
