portrait of a crow...

...singing to its partners

playing in a very blue sky... almost unbelieveably blue... and sunny... there were 4 of them - flying through the air - singing songs to each other back and forth through the tree tops...

they knew i was tracking them from the ground... how i don't know - since i wasn't moving... but somehow - i sensed they were also playing with me as i attempted to capture them mid-flight... not an easy task - oh... you can get them, but not in great, crisp focus - well, not me...

yet, even though this shot is not the greatest in terms of being in focus - i liked it best since it reflects playfulness - his little beak open - and i imagine him sing songing - or perhaps it's a message for me to leave them alone... boo! either way - it made for...
