Corral

Today was cold - from 0 to 9 degrees - but when we got to this meadow around Horseshoe Creek the wind lessened and it was almost balmy - relatively speaking. I managed to get my glove off to capture these corral markers. In years past these have been completely buried with the deep snow.

This being Martin Luther King's birthday, it is not lost on my how far this life in the middle of Idaho is removed from the world's tough issues. I don't have a clue how to reconcile this, perhaps it is simply among the many discrepancies in life.
