Homework.
There is so much homework to be done.
That is one thing I honestly dislike the most about school. I love learning. I love the environment, but I do not being told to what to read and report about. I prefer to learn at my own pace to and report on topics that interest me. Or to let me report on something in my own fashion. For example, in this picture is the New York Times. I take a quiz on the Arts and Leisure section every Tuesday...how am I supposed to enjoy the arts if I'm forced to crack down on it and memorize everything. I rather read the articles that I chose to and have knowledge of them because I want to not because I have to...
I wonder if this makes sense. It's just the thought of being demanded to do something takes away the enjoyment of doing it. I have always felt this way even when it came to doing simple actions, like chores. I never wanted to do chores because my parents would constantly remind me...but I did want to do them when no one was around and I had my iPod at hand to listen to music while I did so.
I know it's probably a silly quirk to have but I am sure there are others who have experienced this.
Homework, homework...homework. Work is for a work. Not at home.
