Snow Hummers

First I need to say sorry if you can't stand to see another Hummingbird photo! It was pretty icy this morning so went to work late. The hummingbird feeder was very active again. I heated up some nectar to put in the feeder and while I was filling it a couple little hummers hovered about 4 or 5 inches from me like they were saying "hurry up, will ya!?!?" That was pretty cool! But, since I had the container of warm nectar in one hand and the feeder in the other there was no photo of that. However, I did find out that the little guys have no fear of me or my camera or the flash. I pulled my chair right up to the feeder and snapped a few photos with flash as it was kind of dreary. I put a few others here, here and here. A couple have a few snow flakes!

Second, I want to say a big BIG thank you to all the wonderful comments on my hummingbird photo yesterday! So much appreciated! And, also the get well wishes. I am feeling a lot better today. Barely a cough and just a tiny sniffle. Maybe I am on the mend!!!!

Tomorrow is a big day, sort of. Let's see what it brings!! :)
