Achievements

Every year we go to Center Parcs for New Year, which, as previously mentioned, is not an infrequent occurrence, my father signs us up for the First Mile of 20(??). This year was no different! So my New Year's Day started by me running a mile at 10am. This is probably not an indicator of the year ahead, if I'm honest. At least I got a certificate!

The main reason I ran the mile was because afterwards we went back to the villa and had a huge brunch. You can see the muffins and tropicana behind the photo. It was excellent! The rest of NYD was spent playing badminton and snooker and going to the pool and then in the evening we went to the Big Center Parcs Quiz of the Year or something and came third!! Out of quite a few teams! We won some chocolates and a bottle of wine and some center parcs vouchers, which was kind of stupid since we were leaving the next day but still! Third place! Very exciting. The team next to us got first place, and we were cheering each other on because of having marked each others' papers. It was very comradely.
