Glorious Morning
I decided to 'blip' early this morning owing to the view. In the winter months it is still dark when I arrive for work, (and often dark when I arrive home according to Clare), but as I came out of my office onto the platform this is what greeted me. Now the rhyme may say, "Red sky in the morning, Sheperds warning" but what a glorious sight.
Having so far avoided the frost and biting cold, (apart from Godrevy on Saturday), there is some fear that in Cornwall we will shortly descend into an 'Ice Age' as some kind of retribution for good weather during the remainder of the year.
Whilst it's true that even the lightest of snow fall can paralyse the county owing to the high "Cornish Hedges" either side of the roads the benefits far outweigh the losses, children home from school = sledging, businesses closed = extra days off, roads closed = pedestrian ice rinks.
For me, I shall enjoy this view until full sun up and and hope for more of the same in the days to come.
