The Feather of Doom

I must admit I do envy people with fancy cameras capable of those gorgeous close-up images ...
On the other hand, I keep thinking 'I could have done that with my little Mickey-Mouse camera' (yeah right).
To prove my point I decided to have a go at something tricky with the generous donation of a feather from MrBird.
This is the image, this is all I can do - I am doomed ...
This little canary feather is about 2cm long, maybe I was asking a bit much, could have used a chicken feather, ... maybe I'll give it to the local pro to take a picture and get a real hiding :)
