Joan of Arc

My first visit to Paris - and on my first morning in Paris, strolling down the street from our Hotel, and to turn the corner and see this stunning, beautiful gold statue of Joan of Arc was just amazing. It is on the Rue de Rivoli from memory and just near the Louvre. We were surrounded by some of the most beautiful parts of Paris and I was quite astonished by it's beauty. I have my friends P & D to thank for even being there, as I had planned that we would go direct to Scotland. They however, said "You Must go to Paris" and thankfully I took their advice and discovered this most beautiful city.
