Starling-less
but not Bible Black. It was a lot closer to black than my blip suggests though, as I jacked up the exposure, contrast and saturation levels.
I drove east to Bexhill to have a look at the De La Warr Pavilion, an Art Deco marvel on the seafront. It was nice, but not that nice. I took a few pics which are on my 400D. The card reader is at home so no chance of a blip there.
On to Hastings, to photograph more starlings swooping. I was in luck - there was a swooping flock of about - ooh, - twenty of them. I settled for a shot of the fire ravaged pier. It's reminicent of the fire that calaimed the West Pier in Brighton, though much more remains of the pier at Hastings. That will all go in the next surprise accidental fire, probably some time in the next year or so.
