The far horizon again

You were abducted by an evil scientist, and shrunk down to the size of a mouse. But you escaped your plastic cage by detaching the water dispenser and climbing through the gap. To escape the lab you hid in the pocket of a lab coat carelessly left on a work bench and when the owner put on the coat and walked out you thought you perhaps would reach freedom, only to find yourself thrown into a dirty laundry basket. Fearing a 40 degree wash would be just too much you clambered out of the basket onto a chest of drawers and managed to sneak into a half open drawer.
