Deep breath!

News and decisions are like polar opposites. The first leaks before the second is confirmed. And the gap between is what persuaded the Pope that Limbo was redundant.

News and gossip are speedy bedfellows, while decisions are lonely, sloth-like beasts. Decisions don't get invited to parties. Not due to unpopularity, simply because they never get around to opening any envelopes. Envelopes, like Schrödinger's boxes, mask certainty.

Every time I hear some news, I get my hopes up, each time a little less high. Tomorrow, it might all change! Trying to remain ever optimistic.

Until then, periodically, a dose of salts are required. Breathe deeply. Is that a new deodorant? No, but I do feel strangely confident!
