Guy-Concordia Underground Station

I like the fact that since I started this photo blog, I look at familiar objects & places differently.

I've walked past here many times and never noticed the interesting rectangular design of the garde-fou near this flight of stairs in the Guy-Concordia underground station.

Guy-Concordia, like several other stations, is crumbling and suffering from infiltrating water. The Montreal underground has only been around since 1966, but it is beginning to show its age - and not much is being done about it.
