Crash Landing

Miss Z found this dead wasp on the trampoline today and thought it was a bee. After explaining the differences between the two, we had a good look at it, especially its still intact stinger, which was quite stiff and strong. Its not often you get to marvel at a wasps beautiful markings or even touch one, especially the pointy end. They maybe pests, but like bee's they also feed on nectar and help pollinate flowers.
