I have fond memories of these red telephone boxes from when I was a child, I remember my Mum often going to the 'phone box' to phone my Nana. They always had a particular smell inside them too.

However, I couldn't agree more with the above quote; I really hate speaking on a telephone now, it frustrates me that I cannot see the person, so I avoid it at all costs, however, sometimes it is necessary and I cringe at the thought of it all.

When I do have to make or receive a phone call, I usually try to hurry it along as quickly as possible which probably isn't the best approach as most people just end up thinking I'm really rude.

It's something I don't use often, but it's the first thing that I grab before leaving the house and follows me everywhere during the day, so probably would miss a mobile telephone if I didn't have one.
