Blue & Orange

What interests me here is not just the blue/orange and natural/manmade opposites, but the way when the twig crosses the light it's brown against the orange and yellow against the white.

But, yes, my early morning was cold, wet and dark - wasn't everyones - so I went for the most readily available light source and sat on my doorstep to take this. The neighbours must have thought me cracked.

And the council's currently replacing all these lights with wonderful (but probably not so photogenic) eco ones, so I make no apology for recording its last weeks in service!
