Glasgow Coat of Arms

Passing through one of the oldest parts of Glasgow today at the Royal Infirmary and Cathedral. I noticed on the lamp post the images from the Glasgow Coat of Arms.
The Tree that never grew , the Bird that never flew and the Fish that never swam.
