Light, water, ice

Afternoon light on the surface of the melting ice on the fishing lake at Carr Vale. Awoken at 4:15 am to get ready for the Manchester airport trip - safely dropped off my brother and was home again before 9 am.

My niece is still in hospital with ongoing tests and no real news of what is wrong. It is stressful for her and the whole family at this time. Jessica is due to take a couple of exams later in the week, which only adds to the mix.
