8:30pm and watching a DVD. It's about to start.

A wee bit more practice done tonight, and Mrs theWeir out at work.

The film was amazing. I'd heard the intro section on a recent Rob Bell talk at Mars Hill and was intrigued.

The opening words spoken in the film (which did have to be heard loud to be fully heard and absorbed) were;

"The nuns taught us there were two ways through life: the way of nature and the way of grace. You have to choose which one you'll follow."

The film spends the next two hours exploring the dynamics of each in a beautiful, if at times bewildering way.

I'd heartily recommend it - unless your idea of cinema is all about counting the discarded bullet shells ;-)
