Or *go large*

Not my best photo today, didn't have my big camera on me because of the constant cold drizzle, plus it was windy & there was no light & I wasn't at home, I was with my friend & only had my compact camera on me... she has more flowers in her garden blooming then mine, including this rain soaked rose! I fell in the mud today while counting her 21 sheep in the darkness, the knee high muddy field & the rain - she was in hysterics, as I kneeled there praying to the cold soggy earth, laughing myself - I knew it would happen! Especially how my jeans were newly washed... there's going to be two smooth knee impressions in that field now for some time, or just most of the Winter! ;-)

I've always been prone to fall over, never got the balance in my legs quite right, always the small annoying child to fall over in the playground & come home with bloody grazed knees. But I had a good excuse this time, lack of sleep, I didn't sleep at all last night, so much going through my mind & then at 3am the dog fox finally caught up with the vixen in the garden - he has been calling her for days, they hook up this time of year & by god, did they have a lovers tiff! Screaming, growling, barking... they sounded like a band of chimpanzees! (Band? Is that the right collective name, if not, it should be!) On & on they screamed at each other. I'm not used to it here in the countryside, it's more of a city thing, here there's an active fox hunt & a hundred gamekeepers! So I really hope they last out... without a gun to shoot them down or a dog to rip them apart, even though that's illegal!

Sorry, essay writing. Sore knees, sore back, head fuzzy after my 48 hour dry spell from wine, following the government guidelines, but due to lack of sleep (no sleep at all), this wine went down too quickly.... !

Oops almost forgot...
