Kaihoka Lakes walk

It rained again last night - and even more during the day today! This time there was no avoiding it!! Even walking through this fairly dense native bush didn't protect me very much.

The rain did bring out the best smell though........the fresh, damp undergrowth is sooooo earthy. Sorry - I haven't found a way to photograph smells yet or I would definitely have blipped that!!
