Paradise Circus

Over twenty years ago someone played me an album by The Lilac Time called 'Paradise Circus'. The seemingly romantic title amused me, as it refers to an area ('a raised roundabout' according the The Guardian), in the centre of Birmingham.

The building that I used to work in (see last Friday's blip), also over looks Paradise Circus and many years ago my parents met each other whilst working on the facing Paradise Street.
