Rawwrr!!
We had a Dentition practical today, where we were comparing the teeth of different species. Quite interesting!
They had laid out some skulls of exotic animals as well, to compare them to the domesticated species. These included the skulls of dolphins, elephants, giraffes etc. But I found this skull, the skull of a lion, the most interesting.
It's by far the oldest skull the vet school own, it must be over 100 years old. It still has the latin names for the bones of the skull etched on. I don't know the story behind the skull, but I'll bet it would be an interesting one!!
