Big Surf.....NOT

There was a big hoopla over the storm that came in today. In my opinion, it didn't quite pan out to be the big event it was suppose to be. Yes, it was really really windy and there were some big gusts. And, there was some rain. In fact, it's still blowing out there. My husband and I braved the storm and went looking for the predicted high surf and big waves. Uh, not to be found. I must say while I was out trying to get at least one shot I could use, I was pushed around by the wind and I was trying to keep my camera out of the rain. I didn't really enjoy it and there weren't any fabulous waves. I got to thinking later that maybe we went up to early. Maybe the big ones hit later in the day. Unless someone else went up and got photos, I will never know!
I believe that with this entry I will lose my recently earned red balloon :o(
Well, I will have to work hard towards the next balloons!! :o)
