Sweet Chai

What a beautiful time I had with Becky today over Chai! Deep, fulfilling, encouraging, genuine conversations like these remind me to put down my premonitions about others and be quick to LOVE. I can recognize in my life where I chose to cop out of the friendship that I know God is presenting to me, due to my own insecurities and/ or judgements.

We were at Wild Board Cafe, and to our left was this antiquated lamp, quite obscure in structure. We found a secret drawer within the lamp that help all these fabulous and mysterious notes a multitude of coffee goers like ourselves had written. Some were confessions, some poems, some were bits of built upon wisdom from the previous writers anonymous post. It was just a splendid find! I look forward to this friendship with sweet Becky!
