First night in Scotland

This was our first night in Scotland/Edinburgh and we decided to go for a walk and explore near our hotel. We turned off Princes Street where our hotel was and wandered up the next street parallel to Princes Street (Rose Street I think) and I spotted this little pub called "Milnes" which just happens to be the surname of one of my scottish ancestors (their sign says Hanover St actually, so must have been just off Rose St somewhere). Of course we had to go in and have a drink - and a nice little pub it was too - you have to walk downstairs to get into it from memory. There were quite a few nice little pubs in the same area so we had to try a few out to celebrate our first night in Scotland....
