nightly ritual

My dog is so strange. Every night he brings out that dragon for us to play fetch with. Then, after a few times of running back and forth throughout the house, he'll get, um, FRIENDLY with the dragon, then lick the face, then grasp the head in his jaw and bob his head while kneading the body, and then fall asleep with the dragon head in his mouth. So incredibly strange, and every single night.
