Fungus family

I couldn't wait until this afternoon when I'm working: just had to go back first thing this morning to make sure yesterday's monster was still there. Thanks to mollyblobs I now know this is an oyster fungus (Pleurotus ostreatus).

This time I took a ruler with me. I know it doesn't look very elegant but wanted to give a better idea of the size. The one I blipped yesterday is upper right. Its nearby family members seem to have grown since yesterday - but maybe that's just my imagination.
