First sign of spring

The bright, almost artificial, flowers of the mimosa tree (Acacia pycnantha, I think) are the first sign of spring here, although they are not indigenous to the Mediterranean but came from Australia. Today along with these flowers there was a mildness in the air after a few chilly days. This is for Kendall who needs some light and colour to help her recovery.
