Raising money for charity!

So last night I went out in Chester city centre on a pub/bar crawl with other members of Chester University trying to raise money for Childreach International.

We were all wearing these yellow t-shirts which say "Unlock a child's potential", and were armed with our buckets ready to ask passers by for donations towards our Kilimanjaro climb.

In all honesty I don't think the night went very well, between 13 of us we might have raised about £200. Some of the group were definitely giving the wrong impression about the charity and didn't act professional about collecting the money at all (I'll leave that to your imagination), and got extremely drunk.

I think we'd be more successful asking people during the day, as the city centre gets really busy, especially on Saturdays.
