Invisible skyline

I realised, while I was thinking of my daily blip, that some things are so much a part of our daily existence now that we cease to notice them, no matter how unnatural.
This is true of cranes - they dominate the skyline, they are huge, intrusive lumps of metal and yet we fail to register them.
And that is the beauty of blip - you start to see again.
