'Ground control to major Tom'

At first glance, it looks like a futuristic spacecraft, something from a 50's science fiction movie and I'll admit when I first saw it I did think it was of that ilk (I know, I know) I'm an ignoramus!
Well how was I to know it was an Alessi juicer! (until my friend asked why I had a juicer on top of my living-room speaker ?

That was 20yrs ago, not lightyears I might add.

It was during a troll round a charity shop one lunchtime that I spied said item. Neither the ladies in the shop nor I knew what it was so a price of 50p was put on it and the rest is history!
