Cooking - good for the soul

Many thanks for all your kind comments of yesterday.

Today was Vicki's funeral, and there were so many people there that we couldn't fit in the church. The service, which was very moving, was relayed to us in the church hall. And although we were invited to go to the graveside, Pat and I went home instead and had some tea.

Funny old evening, in that I suddenly decided, at 11 o'clock at night, to make meatballs; accompanied by a bijou glassette of wine, naturellement....

Good old Delia - comfort food - to be served with pommes dauphinoise at the weekend for friends, methinks.

As Miss Piggy would say - "Pretentious - moi?"
