A Big Day!

So after a quick session in the gym it was time to wait.... and wait.... and wait.... and then at around 3pm the phone rang.... the deal was complete... and we headed off to pick up the keys to our new flat!

We managed to unload two carloads of stuff into the flat with the help of Mum and Dad! Then hubby and I headed to the local pub for a bite to eat and came back to our wee house to flake out as we are shattered.

By the door to our flat was this package of goodies from the Halifax to sweeten us up before the first mortgage payment! Actually it is spot on! Thank-you Halifax! It has coffee, tea, biscuits, wine, soap and moisturiser, picture hooks, a mini tool kit and chocolates! So it is blipped for you to see.

Tomorrow we will move lots more stuff and then on Sat my eldest brother and his son will help us move the bed and big stuff in his van. Family is good.

So after several months waiting, the time has come for us to settle in properly and for hubby to get busy with his DIY!
