Landmark

I photographed this (another Polaroid, slightly old film - hence the "flow" marks) last night after teaching a composition class. This sign is right in the downtown area and more or less one of the handful of "landmark signs" in that area. The motel, however, doesn't live up to the grandiosity of its signage and its largesse befits an open-road highway-side much better than the building-surrounded, urban forest it currently inhabits.
