Late or early?

Today I received a Christmas card and letter from Australia from one of my oldest friends she didn't actualy post it until last Friday therefore canIi deem this very late or keep it safe until December???

Actually she had good reason to be late she's been doing massive renovations in her house and it had to be finished by Christmas because her and her boyfriend were hosting Christmas Dinner. Either way becaause the card is also a letter I'll be keeping it :)
