Christmas Day

We had a nice, if slightly odd, Christmas. I got up and made pancakes and bacon. Eventually, Mr. Apple woke up and we were able to open presents. There were far, far too many of them and it left things feeling a little hollow, just slightly off. But, my sister's place has a very nice relaxed, chill, homey vibe. In the afternoon, we hit up the game section at the local CVS and bought out the childhood classics they had on hand. My sister kicked my ass at Connect Four, Crazy Eights, Go Fish, and Old Maid.
