The Coast to Coast

I took part in Scotland The World Over!

This is the start line of the Coast to Coast, it is one of the hardest multi-sport events in the world starting here at the Tasman Sea on New Zealand's West Coast and crossing the Southern Alps to finish at Sumner Beach which is on the Pacific Ocean 243kms away.
People come from all over the world to compete so if crazy endurance sports are your thing then this is the place to be.
Now to the Scottish connection, one of my Scottish friends from work is married to a guy who ran it in his kilt. He did it to raise money for a music system to be fitted to the MRI scanner in our local hospital after having treatment there. Here is the link to his story.

I got many funny looks putting this flag up and i even held up traffic.

P.S it only takes 10 hours 45 mins and it takes place next month.
