Double Delight

Absolutely one of my favourites - a hybrid tea rose with such a lovely fragrance.

The rose blooms in a creamy white at first, with just a red tinge on the outer petals, but as they mature so does the cherry red colouring, especially in hot climates like ours.

I love this startling contrast between the layers of the bright cherry outer petals and the creamy white heart.

When I depart for St Peter's Cocktail Bar one day - this is the one to plant for me.
