The Daily Walk

Day 20, today was another day at work.

Typical Friday at work, afternoon got a bit quieter and I got a bit bored sitting in the office, so I decided to take a stroll through the factory floor again to explore a little.

Following my post from January 9 here's one of the yarns being fed into the machines. Each stranded of yarn is air entangled accordingly by the pattern onto large cones.Each thread then gets fed into this machine, like so, and knitted into carpet... pretty cool stuff!

Its starting to seem like I'm going backwards on this carpet making process here, so maybe on my next stroll onto the factory floor, we'll take a look into the process where the patterns are hand made! :)
