Particularly on a grey uninspiring day like it is here in London, if I'm out and have persuaded myself to stick a camera in the bag I'm more likely to take the kind of shots that I may not even notice on a bright sunny day. This is where the truly 'personal' shots kick in - I've no idea why I shot this, for instance, but I'm glad that I did.
