Lewes District Council

Interesting day today as I wondered why our revenue in a car park we lease to the council has dropped by 70%. Of the 49 cars, only 7 had tickets!

A few phone calls later and I've been told that they no longer monitor the car park and cannot issue penalty tickets. Thanks for telling me! So, council staff have realised they can park for free on our land.

On further investigation, we found out they are in breach of their contract and I threatened to just lock the gate. Amazing response.....meeting next week and an investigation about what has gone wrong.
