Bahrain Air Show 2012 - Mirage Fighter

I got my camera back today, or rather my wife's camera came back from the Camera Hospital so she relinguished her hold on mine. Even so her battery ran down and she grabbed mine asgain at the end of the day but not before I'd taken 200+ pics!

We went to the Bahrain Airshow. I'm not big on this sort of thing preferring my aerospace adventures to feature wide-bodied jets, business class, large gins and tonic and much obsequious pandering from the cabin crew, but it was impossible not to be moved by the raw power of this Mirage fighter and an USN F18 plus stunning aerobatics displays. A great day out that concluded with a fireworks display.
